Süleyman Cicek is a lawyer specialising in intellectual property law, with a particular focus on trade mark law. He advises clients in particular on national, European and international trade mark applications as well as trade mark opposition and conflict proceedings.
Mr Cicek studied law at EBS University of Business and Law, specialising in digital law, before completing his legal traineeship in the district of the Higher Regional Court of Frankfurt am Main. As part of his training, he worked at the European Commission in Brussels, among other institutions. He also completed part of his legal education at FGV Direito in São Paulo, where he focused in particular on the legal regulation of artificial intelligence and robotics.
Before joining our law firm, Mr Cicek worked as in-house counsel for an international technology group. In this role, he gained practical experience in handling cross-border matters, conducting internal investigations and advising on regulatory issues relating to IT and artificial intelligence.
Mr Cicek speaks German, English, Turkish, Spanish, French and Portuguese and is available to advise clients, particularly on matters of trade mark law.
